A too-short lunch hour yesterday forced me to stop reading 10 pages in (I did print it off). Didn't get back to it until late last night, but I cannot deny that the story haunted me all afternoon as I was working.
So much to say! I have never seen such powerful characterization of Owen in my life. Not only was the whole setup ingenius, but the path you took Owen, and yes Tosh, through was compelling, painful, beautiful, tragic all in one.
Damn, this is good fic.
You really have written something special here. This is the first fic of yours I've read, but with this quality of writing, your work is definitely tops on my list.
