This was compelling on such a base level. The use of right-justify and the chopping back and forth was a powerful mode of pushing the rawness forward. I felt a stab of disappointment when the retcon came out, but I don't think it's all going to go back to normal and sweetness and light in the morning so I hung onto that. And I'm glad she fought for her life at the end and I hope that he forgot to put arnica on her bruised knuckles so there's just the small hope she'll look from them to Owen's damaged nose and draw her own conclusions.
