oh man. i was reading this, and thinking, "mmmm, poooooorn, nice little edge to the undercurrents, yay"--and then BANG the end, oh my GOD. It just turns my whole head upside down, because suddenly I can see how those two lines were waiting underneath the whole story, all the time. LOVE.
