A lovely capuring of moments between the two. It seems so much less painful between the two when Jack is mortal and then they both seem to suffer so much from his long life.

Through Jack I think we get that hint of what timelessness is like, as Jack's immortality gives him a glimpse of the Doctors pain which he never understood before.

It's so heartbreaking and lonely for them, but also lovely and full of feeling, on both sids.
